Hinter PGPZ steht Paul Brigner.

Tageschart: ZEC korrigiert bereits rund 29 % vom Hoch

  • Wichtiger Widerstand: rund 1.523,50 Dollar.

The lobby news is intresting, but I’m not sure 750,000 dollars for one year means Zcash is suddenly going to win in Washington. It could help explain privacy better, sure, tho politicians usually take ages to understand even normal crypto stuff. The phrase “financial privacy isnt political” sounds nice but in reality it probably becomes political the second taxes and law enforcment get mentioned.

The price move is honestly kind of crazy. Going from about 15 bucks to 1,695 is not just a little rally, thats basically the chart leaving planet earth. When something pumps over 10,000 percent I would expect the RSI to look tired, even if I dont fully understand what every MACD line is doing. People often treat bullish EMA crosses like a guarantee, but indicators dont know about whales, news, panic selling or somebody loosing their wallet password.

The levels around 1,523 and 1,695 seem important, although these exact numbers can make traders act like the market is a maths exam. If it drops to 1,054 or even 600-ish, that would be a huge haircut from the top, but crypto has done much weirder things before breakfast. Also the article saying it already fell 29 percent should remind everyone that “correction” can mean alot more than a small dip.

I do wonder if the Washington lobbying and the chart are being connected too neatly. Lobbying might improve the long term rules, but it doesnt automaticly create buyers tomorrow morning. Zcash privacy is a real use case, yet regulation could also bring extra demands that make privacy coins harder to use, which seems like the opposite of what supporters want.

And the Fortitude Mining headline is basically just a headline since the article wasnt available. Bitmain equipment sounds relevant to crypto mining, but guessing the rest would be making stuff up. Overall I’d be careful here, maybe wait for the 1,523 level to prove itself instead of chasing a giant green candle. I could be totaly wrong tho, which is kind of the main feature of crypto markets.
One point I’d add to the earlier discussion is that the most interesting part here may not be whether ZEC reaches 1,523.50 or 1,695 dollars again, but how little history there is at these price levels. Fibonacci zones and the 50-week EMA can be useful reference points, but they are still calculated from past movement in a market that has just made an absolutely unusual run. At some point the chart is less a map and more a weather forecast during a hurricane.

The RSI divergence also deserves a bit of nuance. A divergence can warn that momentum is fading, but it doesn’t tell us when the reversal has to happen. In a strong crypto trend, an overbought RSI can stay overbought for much longer than most traders expect. That is why I would not automatically read the divergence as “sell now,” although it does make chasing the price after such a huge move look especially risky. The distinction between a warning and a confirmed trend change gets lost very easily on social media.

I’m also curious about the time frames being put together here. The monthly MACD and weekly EMAs can remain positive while the daily chart looks ugly for quite a while. Those signals aren’t necessarily contradicting each other; they may simply be describing different parts of the same move. A daily correction of 29 percent could still fit inside a larger bullish structure, but it can still be painful enough to shake out people who bought near the top. Both things can be true at once.

The 1,054-dollar area seems more important to me psychologically than the exact Golden Ratio level. If the market falls that far, people who bought the breakout may start questioning the entire story, not just the short-term trend. And a decline toward 603–657 dollars would be a completely different situation, even if technical traders call it a normal retracement. A 55 percent drop is not “normal” for everyone holding the coin, especially for newcomers who only saw the spectacular percentage gains.

On the political side, I think the choice of legislation matters more than simply having a lobbyist in Washington. Tax certainty could make digital assets easier for some businesses and investors to deal with, while a broader market-structure bill might define which projects can operate with less uncertainty. But there is a big difference between getting a seat at the table and getting the outcome you want. The failed Senate vote on the Clarity Act is a good reminder that registration and funding don’t equal political momentum.

I’d also like to know more about how PGPZ plans to explain Zcash to lawmakers who may not be comfortable with privacy technology in general. Saying that financial privacy is not partisan is reasonable, but the practical examples will probably decide whether the message works. Ordinary people understand not wanting every transaction exposed, yet regulators may focus on sanctions, tax reporting and criminal misuse. A serious policy campaign has to address those concerns directly rather than treating them as misunderstandings that will disappear after one presentation.

The community funding is another detail that deserves attention. Seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars is a substantial first-year budget, but supporters will eventually need a way to judge what it produced. Did it lead to meetings, draft language, public statements, or actual changes to a bill? Without clear goals, “lobbying” can become a vague label that sounds important but is hard to measure. I’m not saying the initiative won’t help, just that transparency will matter if the community is paying for it.

Regarding Fortitude Mining, I agree with the cautious approach. An agreement to buy or obtain Bitmain equipment could be relevant, but an expression of intent is not the same as machines being delivered, powered on and producing profitable coins. Mining economics depend on electricity prices, hardware efficiency, financing and network conditions. Until those details are available, it is better not to attach a bigger story to a headline than the source actually supports.

Overall, the article leaves me with two separate conclusions rather than one combined prediction. Zcash may be making a more serious effort to participate in policy discussions, which could help its long-term legitimacy. At the same time, the price has moved so far and so fast that a substantial correction would not be surprising at all. Good political news does not cancel out stretched valuations, and bearish technical signals do not automatically invalidate the project. For me the sensible position is to keep those questions separate and wait for clearer evidence on both fronts.

Article Summary

Zcash has launched a Washington lobbying group funded with $750,000, while ZEC’s sharp rally faces correction risks despite bullish longer-term indicators.
