so wiat-- do the police just take all the bitcoin and jsut keep it or they like give it bak?? i dont rly get how u can steal eletricity its not like somehting u can hide in ur poket lol! i saw one comment sayin bitcoin mining is crimes now but not all the time is it? sombody shud explain beter becuse im lost, thanks
lol i saw some1 talkn abot the cops just keepin the btc stuff, i guess here thhey just took mashines? never kno what do they acshuly doo with it, like do they sale it on the internet or just put in storage lol, all the wiers thing wit mining seems scetchy I read on one old artickle those things get rly hot and loud too and maybe smokes comes out, is that why they get cought? or is it coz of the electrisity counts going big but idk how meter things works? My frend said in malayshia alot of people try to mine its like a cash grab. If the police bust it maybe some1 grass on them or maybe the ellectric company see the bill, whch one is it.

Also not sure if all utilities are privat so does it mess up just busines or do prices go up for peeps? like does my grandma have to pay more for her kettle just coz someone mines btc in the basemnet? Totaly confuse how math goes.

Some1 also sed in a diffrent post that mining btc is NOT always illegal but if it use your own plug and pay for it, so how they kno if it stoled? Cant those miners just say ohh i payd, look reciet. Wonder how much electric one of thoes machines eats, maybe like ten TV at once or even a washingmachines haha idk.

I feel like too much news say crime this crime tht, but lot of this is just about who pays bill? Like the real prob is not only mining its the not pay part. Anyway police did big job probly, but how much btc is left in the wild after this? Seems like more miners just go somewher else, its like fly sneking round when you shut windows hha.
I think a big issue is just how much energy these bitcoin mines suck up—it's wild some folks don't even bother paying for what they use, so obviously that's illegal if you're stealing power, even if mining itself isn't always a crime.
Honestly, I wonder how much of a difference these raids really make in the long run. Seems like every time one group gets caught, there's another one popping up somewhere else. The real question for me is if the power companies have any actual way to catch these miners before the losses get huge, or if they're always just playing catch up. Can't imagine how tough it must be to keep track of all that power usage.
Im probly wrong but i dont see how the local utilities r losing all that much if its just computers plugged in coz i run my pc all the time too an im not gettin blamed so maybe its not as big deal lol??
honestly i dnt think all miners are bad just becaus some steal electrcity, and the police probly just wanna look like there doing sumthing big but what hapens to the seized equipemnt, does it go bak to ppl or get sold or what??
