According to a report by crypto-news-flash.com, Argentina recorded a surge in Bitcoin purchases amidst a significant price decline. On Monday, the highest daily volume of Bitcoin purchases in 2024 was registered, as the Bitcoin price plummeted sharply from $58,000 to $49,000 – a drop of over 15% within a single day.

This surge surpassed the previous peak by an impressive 33%. Augusto Adamoli, Chief Operating Officer at Lemon Exchange, explained that steep price declines tend to trigger buying frenzies rather than sales. This unique response is attributed to Argentina's economic instability, where many residents view Bitcoin as a stable store of value.
